Safer Recruitment
The school/college pays full regard to DfE guidance ‘Keeping Children Safe in Education’ 2023, Disqualification under the Childcare Act 2006and with reference to the ‘Position of Trust’ offence (Sexual Offences Act 2003). We ensure that all appropriate measures are applied in relation to everyone who works in the school/college who is likely to be perceived by the children as a safe and trustworthy adult.
Team Around The School
Each half term, we hold Team Around the School (TAS) meetings. These TAS meetings are attended by our designated Safeguarding Leads, our School Age Plus worker, our School Nurse, a Social Worker and an Educational Welfare Officer
