Times of the School Day

Our school day varies from key stage to key stage. The school gates open at 08.40am every day, with all children lining up ready to come in.

Our Reception class operates a fluid learning environment, but with the following sessions timetabled in each day:

8:45am - 9:15am	Register, Lunches and Morning Prayer
9:15am - 9:30am	Magic Story Box / Drawing Club/ Narrative Focused session
9:30am-10:15am	Discovery Learning Time
10.15am - 10.30am	Break time
10:30am-11:00am	Phonics
11:00am-11:45am	Discovery Learning Time
11:30am-11:45am	Maths carpet session / Singing / Story Time
11:45am-12:00pm	Toilets, getting ready for lunch and Lunch Time Prayer
12:00pm-1:00pm	Lunch Time
1:00pm-1:30pm	Additional carpet session (RE, PSHE, UtW, Music,) / PE
1:30pm-2:30pm	Discovery Time
2:30pm-3:00pm	Story Time, getting ready for home and End of Day Prayer
3:00pm	School Day ends

9.00am - 10.15am	Assembly; Literacy lesson
10.15am - 10.30am	Break time (+ Year 3 and 4)
10.30am - 11.00am	Phonics/SPAG
11.00am - 12.00pm	Numeracy lesson
12.00pm - 1.00pm	Lunch time
1.00pm - 2.00pm	Foundation subject
2.00pm - 2.15pm	Break time
2.15pm - 3.00pm	Foundation subject
3.00pm	School day ends
